About the Journal

Journal of Active Movement (JAM) (E-ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Yayasan Active Movement Indonesia in collaboration with Pusat Unggulan Inovasi (PUI) Center of Children Physical Activity (CCPA), Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia.

JAM provides an academic platform for researchers, sports scientists, educators, coaches, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research findings and innovative practices in the fields of sports science, physical literacy, human movement, and physical activity.

The journal is dedicated to advancing the understanding of human movement by exploring the relationship between physical literacy, physical activity, exercise, and athletic development, particularly among children, youth, and active populations. JAM aims to bridge the gap between developmental perspectives and performance-oriented approaches through evidence-based training methods, coaching strategies, and movement interventions.

The journal’s scope encompasses research on motor development, biomotor assessment, exercise physiology, movement behavior, sports coaching, athlete development, and performance analysis. JAM welcomes rigorous studies that examine physiological, psychological, pedagogical, and behavioral aspects influencing movement participation, health, and athletic performance.

Furthermore, JAM provides a forum for innovative research on assessment tools, talent identification, training methodologies, and evidence-based practices in sports and movement sciences. Through a rigorous peer-review process and open-access dissemination, the Journal of Active Movement aims to contribute to the advancement of sports science, physical literacy, and movement-based research globally.
